UCSF neurologist, former Congressman Gephardt to discuss issues at health care forum

WHAT:

Stephen Hauser, MD, chairman of the UCSF Department of Neurology and a leading multiple sclerosis researcher, will host leaders of business, labor, health care and government for a discussion on what needs to be done to overhaul America’s healthcare system.

Participants will include former Congressman Dick Gephardt and William J. Rutter, PhD, chairman and CEO, Synergenics, LLC; founder and chairman emeritus, Chiron Corporation.

The event is sponsored by The America’s Agenda Healthcare Education Fund and is intendedto highlight the emerging national consensus on key components of a modernized 21st century healthcare system. It is the fourth in a series of “Summit Conversations” being held nationwide.
