SF Chronicle profiles Helen Diller and her support for UCSF

Prominent philanthropist Helen Diller is profiled in the San Francisco Chronicle and the San Mateo County Times for her lifetime of giving back in the spirit of “Tikkun olam,’’ the Hebrew term for repairing the world. Diller has become a leading philanthropist in the Bay Area, the articles report, including significant support for UCSF. The stories were published in advance of the June 2 opening of the Helen Diller Family Cancer Research Building at Mission Bay, which was made possible by a $35 million grant from the Helen Diller Family Foundation. The San Mateo County Times story was published on May 30, the Chronicle’s story on June 1.
