Regional media cover UCSF participation in world’s largest game of Candy Land

To celebrate the 60th birthday of the popular children’s board game Candy Land, San Francisco’s famously crooked Lombard Street was transformed on August 19 into a life-size version of the game. Six patients from UCSF Children’s Hospital participated in the game, escorted by Lisa Gray and Becky Higbee, two of the hospital’s child life specialists. The event and the participation of UCSF Children’s Hospital was widely covered by local and regional media.
