The New York Times’ August 28 coverage of Senator Ted Kennedy’s death included an extensive story on what it called the nation’s 40-year “war on cancer” and Sen. Kennedy’s role in those efforts. The story included several comments by UCSF Chair of Neurological Surgery Mitchel S. Berger, MD.
